Morris was a founding partner of Thornborough Smeltz LLP and was a pillar for the firm until his retirement in June, 2024. 

Prior to establishing his practice in Calgary, Morris practised law in Manitoba until 1981.

Morris primarily practiced in the areas of corporate and commercial law, real estate conveyancing, and wills and estates. His integrity and dedication to helping clients achieve their goals is reflected in the long standing relationships he has developed throughout his career.

Morris received his Queen’s Counsel Appointment in 1980 in Manitoba.
